About Me

Hello, It's YB! Welcome to my page :)

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the U.S. when I was 12.

Since I was little, I loved creative storytelling, writing fictions, and drawing comics.

I got into filmmaking and video editing in high school, discovering my passion for visual storytelling. I attended University of Southern California's

School of Cinematic Arts and majored in film and TV production,

further educating myself and building skills towards directing and editing.

Since then, I've worked on numerous projects, including documentaries, independent short films, commercials, and mostly unscripted web videos.

I've been a video editor for BuzzFeed Video for 2 1/2 years working on hit shows

such as Worth It, Tasty, and LadyLike, and currently am editing for the Try Guys, maintaining their YouTube channel with nearly 7 million subscribers.

On the side, I have my own YouTube channel and have built a following in social media (Instagram) by appearing as talent in many videos. You can find me as a guest star in many of the current Try Guys and older BuzzFeed videos!
